The National Honor Society Induction rehearsal for Thursday, April 16 has been cancelled. The new date for the mandatory rehearsal is Thursday, April 23rd at lunch in the Auditeria. All new members must attend. Additionally, any member interested in running for a 2015 office must pick up an informational packet at the April 23rd meeting. See Mrs. Dietrich in H211 if you have questions.

Attention Juniors who took the ACT during the school day on March 3rd- you can get a copy of your score from your counselor.

The computer lab in room F211 will be open today during lunch for student use. The library computers will not be available at lunch during AMP testing.

Students in 9-11th grades that are wanting correspondence grades to post to transcripts for this semester must have the grade posted to their transcript by July 24. It is suggested that correspondence classes be completed by mid June in order for exams to be graded and the correspondence school to send the grade to your school in time for the grade to be posted no later than the July 24th deadline. Any classes completed after July 24th will be posted to transcripts for first semester of the 15/16 school year and not able to be used for eligibility.

All Credit By Choice grades must be received by the Registrar’s office by May 1st at 2:00 p.m. to be added to graduates credits. Grades must be sent directly from the Institution giving the grade by fax to 907-742-6259 and an official copy mailed. No copies directly from students are accepted. The yellow final transcript form for seniors is now available in the Curriculum Office. Your college will require a final transcript with your graduation date and final credits posted before finalizing your college first semester classes. All requests must have a complete address for the college you are attending before we are able to process your request. An unofficial transcript will also be mailed to your home when grades post. Plan ahead and get your final transcript form turned in. Any student missing final exams needs to complete the Late Final Form in the Curriculum Office. Finals CANNOT be given early and the makeup day has been set for June 3rd at 8:00 am in the Curriculum Office. Zeros will be turned in for missing exams and grade changes turned in when exams have been graded. Any questions can be answered in the Curriculum Office.

Permission slips for Senior Fun Day are available outside of Mrs. Habberstad's room (F109) and can be turned in to the same place. Slips are due no later than after school on Tuesday, APRIL 28th. Senior Fun Day is on Thursday, April 30th and begins at 8am in the Little Gym…

Prom 2015 is coming up tomorrow! It's going to be totally different from anything we've done before. You don't want to miss it! Tickets are on sale for two more days at lunch. Prices go up at the door, so get your tickets today. Bagoys, our school business partner who offers discounts to all South students, called Mrs Habberstad to ask all students to PLEASE get in early for corsage and boutineer orders. They can't take many last minute orders!

ALL GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING FLAG FOOTBALL NEXT FALL . . . Please come to a brief but important meeting at lunch (10:30) on Wednesday, April 22nd in the Upper Gym to prepare for next season. We will discuss upcoming camps, club programs and summer workouts. If you have questions, please see COACH KIRN in F-204.

Any student taking an AP exam this year MUST attend a mandatory Pre-Administration session in the AUDITERIA. There are three sessions to choose from: April 21st @ 10:25 (lunch) April 22nd @ 7am (before school) April 23rd @ 2:05 (after school) Bring a #2 Pencil, not mechanical! Put this in your calendar!

Ischool summer school registration is now available. You can print the registration forms from the ischool website or pick up a form from the curriculum office or your counselor. KCC will also offer summer school courses May 26–June 12, classes run M-F from 8am-2:40pm Pick up a registration form from the curriculum office or your counselor. Transportation will be provided after school to "proximity stops". Transportation to school is the responsibility of the student. Each summer school class is $100. You can pay online through Zangle parent connect or with Mrs.Thornton in the front office. Attach your receipt to your registration and bring it to your counselor.
