The Alaska Native Heritage Center After-School High School Program will be here to share information on January 14th at lunch in the commons.

Dear PTSO, Peer mentorship is seeking donations for upcoming events we have with freshmen. We need: -A 1-hole puncher -Masking Tape -White Paint -Paint Brushes -Printing Paper Any donations are very much appreciated and can be delivered to the front office labeled "Peer Mentors". Jeans for teens is going on until February 15! All the jeans donated go to homeless youth in our community. Please donate jeans in the box by the elevator!

If you are still wanting to participate in Mr. and Ms. south its not too late! Go to C114 during lunch where you can sign up and get the information you missed from the meeting.

A representative from APU will be here with information about their school today at lunch. If you would like to meet with them they will be located at the bottom of the grand staircase. There is also a calendar by curriculum with a list of colleges and when they visit our school. Feel free to come by and check it out.

The Richardson Spouses’ Club Scholarship for military dependents (Deadline Feb. 28) and the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizens program and scholarship contest (Deadline Jan. 24) applications are available in Mrs. Hemenway’s office.

Clubs and Groups

Have you wondered how Hati has been doing after its fatal natural disaster? It is starting to look better but they still need help. The Houses for haiti club meets every thursday at lunch in Mr.Eiserts room G210. This club's main goal is to collect enough money to build a house for a family. These houses are equipped with running water and adequate sewage. They also hire locals to build the houses furthermore helping them out even more. Lets help do something great! Again we meet Thursdays at lunch in Mr. Eisert’s room G210.

Red Cross Club meets on Tuesdays at lunch in Room H113. Join and become a part of the world's largest humanitarian organization.

GSA meets at lunch on Wednesdays in F111. Come join a safe environment and support a great cause!

Sports

All boys interested in playing for the South Boys Soccer teams need to attend the pre season meeting Thursday January 22, in the upper Gym @ 10:30 am.

LIKE FREE FOOD? Come to the Basketball Games tonight at South! There will be a hospitality room with free food and drink. Come and support your fellow Wolverines!
